Ancient Roots, Living Branches

We Believe in Prayer
As we are a dispersed, online community, one of the most powerful things we can do for one another is pray. Prayer is the heart of a Christians life, and here at House of Ancient Faith, we take prayer seriously. We offer live prayer sessions, prayer intake, and classes to learn about different prayer techniques and methods. We encourage you all, come and pray with us.
Ways to Pray
Learn About Prayer
We are currently working on creating online, self-paced educational classes on prayer. Please check back soon to see what classes you can attend to learn more about prayer.
Our Prayer Offerings
Every Monday: 7pm
Prayer Lab
Prayer Lab is a gentle, live practice space where we learn to pray without pressure or performance. Each session includes a psalm read aloud, two simple prayer practices you can use all week, and one takeaway card to guide your home rhythm. We keep the tone unhurried, Scripture-soaked, and accessible for beginners and longtime believers alike. Join live for interaction or watch the replay at your pace. You don’t need special materials, just a quiet spot and an honest heart.
Last Wednesday of the Month: 7pm
Peace & Discernment Night
Once a month we address spiritual struggles such as fear, accusation, intrusive thoughts, and temptation in a calm, biblical way. You’ll receive brief teaching, pray a psalm together, and leave with a plan for next steps. In these sessions, we address spiritual warfare. But more importantly, we focus on the Christ who has already overcome. Attend live for Q&A or catch the replay if you need time to process. Our aim is simple: steady peace in Christ, not hype.
Sundays: 6pm
Lord's Day Livestream
Gather with us online for Word and Table in a reverent, simple liturgy rooted in Scripture and the historic faith. We offer a short homily designed to meet you where you live. If you’re preparing Communion at home, we provide clear guidance and follow-up pastoral care as needed. Join live to pray with others, or watch later if your schedule is complex. Wherever you are, come receive Christ’s peace and strength for the week ahead.
Prayer Requests
If you're struggling or want the faithful to pray for you, you can contact us and submit your prayer request. You can reach out via email, Instagram, or Facebook messenger. If you want to speak to the pastor or learn more, email us at any time and we'd love to schedule a session to talk with you.
